Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency Anil Baluni filed his nomination in Pauri on Tuesday. A total of seven candidates filed their nomination on the day. A total of eight candidates including the Congress candidate Ganesh Godiyal have filed their nomination in this Lok Sabha constituency so far.
Apart from Baluni and Godiyal, the candidates who have filed their nomination from this constituency include independent candidates Arjun Singh, Sonu Kumar, Vinod Kumar Arya of the Uttarakhand Samanta Party, Reshma (SUCI Communist), Mukesh Chandra Pant of the SSP and Ashutosh Negi of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal, according to the district election officer Ashish Chauhan.
