In latest news from Uttarakhand, an elderly man was burnt alive when fire broke out in a house and gutted it almost completely. The tragic incident happened in Roorkee under Gangnahar police station limits. The deceased was identified as Nisar Ahammad. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and the personnel found that the locals had put out the blaze.
The household items have been completely destroyed in the fire, the fire staffers said and added that the cause of the blaze was being probed.
