Electoral concerns make fear of Lord Ram natural among those pursuing anti-Sanatan policy: BJP

Responding to former chief minister and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat’s statement that Lord Ram had come in his dream, the Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt said on Tuesday that it is natural for those who pursue an anti-Sanatan Dharma policy to fear Lord Rama with the elections drawing near. Such people should also visit Ayodhya, he said. Referring to the Pradesh Congress Committee president Karan Mahara stating that he will not attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram in Ayodhya, he said that in a party where one has to seek permission from the party president and central leadership to visit a temple, the leaders only need an excuse to not visit Ayodhya. Rawat had recently stated on social media that he had dreamt that Lord Rama was sitting beside him and telling him to visit his temple in Ayodhya. Responding to questions raised on this by the media, the BJP State chief said that the leaders of the Congress which has always adopted a policy opposing Lord Ram and the Sanatan Dharma are now fearing a defeat in the coming elections. “This is the reason why they are once again becoming Hindus by convenience and seeing Lord Ram in their dreams out of fear. It will be better if Harish Rawat travels to Ayodhya via Haridwar because the people have decided to retire him and the Congress politically,” Bhatt said.Referring to the PCC president’s statement, he said that the stance of the Congress regarding the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is clear from its national president Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement wherein he had stated that all in the Congress have the permission to visit the temple. “The enthusiasm and happiness across the nation ahead of the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in the temple is known to all. A large number of Congress workers also want to rejoice in this great occasion of national cultural awakening but none of them dares to oppose the anti-Sanatan policy of their leaders,” Bhatt said.
