A total of 957 employees who are deputed for polling duty on February 14 in Dehradun cast their vote through postal ballot on Saturday since they cannot leave the polling booths during their duty as per the protocols. The district officials informed that out of 10 assembly seats in the Dehradun district, 151 employees were from Raipur, 147 from Dharampur, 105 each from Dehradun Cantt and Doiwala, 93 from Mussoorie, 88 from Chakrata, 85 from Sahaspur, 76 from Vikasnagar, 65 from Rajpur Road and 42 from Rishikesh. Besides this, the officials informed that 845 people aged above 80 years and persons with disabilities also cast their votes through the postal ballot that included 122 persons from Sahaspur, 72 from Vikasnagar and one from Dharampur.
