Chief secretary Radha Raturi has said that public transport needs to be encouraged in view of the traffic problems and environmental issues. She was speaking on the occasion of formal commencement of the electric bus service between the State secretariat and the secretariat colony in Kedarpuram on Monday.
The employees of the secretariat will get the benefit of the service and will use it to commute to their workplace from their residential colony. Congratulating the employees at the secretariat the CS said that the electric bus service will prove to be beneficial for them and will also help in reducing the problem of traffic in the city.
Secretary Deependra Kumar Chaudhary, office bearers of secretariat association and employees were present on the occasion.
