Dehradun police have removed encroachments and illegally parked vehicles to clear the roads for a smooth Char Dham Yatra beginning on Sunday. During the drive, the police also installed signboards at different points to guide and help pilgrims during their journey.
The police further reviewed areas where road construction work is ongoing and may cause traffic issues. They coordinated with the agencies concerned and asked them to complete the works at the earliest so that the movement of vehicles is not affected.
People encroaching on the roads were warned not to repeat such actions, or else they will face strict legal action.
