Noted entrepreneur, politician and hydro power expert Ratan Singh Gunsola died in Dehradun on late Friday night. He was former president of District Panchayat Tehri and President and Managing Director of Gunsola Hydro Power Generation.
The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has condoled the death of Gunsola. Posting on Twitter, he wrote, ‘‘Received the sad news of the death of Ratan Singh Gunsola, who is called the energy man of Uttarakhand.’’
Incidentally Gunsola, who was twice Tehri District Panchayat President, is considered the father of small hydro power projects in Uttarakhand.
