Ensure prompt action to resolve public grievances, says CM

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officials to work on the principle of simplification, solution, redressal and satisfaction to effectively address public grievances. The CM issued this direction while interacting with the public and listening to their grievances at the Lohiahead camp office in Udham Singh Nagar on Thursday.
Dhami said that the State government is serious about solving the problems of the general public and resolving the grievances of the common people is among the topmost priority of the government. He said that strict instructions have been issued to the officials for ensuring the time bound redressal of public grievances. Speaking on the occasion, the CM further said that arrangements are being made to ensure that the problems faced in the villages should be solved at the village level. Night Chaupals are being organised for this purpose, he added.
The district magistrates have been directed to address public grievances on a regular basis in order to ensure the swift redressal of the problems being faced by the people. Dhami said that while touring the districts, he himself consistently takes feedback from the people on the schemes being executed by the government. The district magistrates have also been ordered to regularly hold Janata Darbar, Tehsil Diwas and take other measures to address the public grievances. The State government is working in the interests of the people and even the most tough issues are being resolved for the welfare of the public, he added.
