Dhami directs officials to expedite selection process through UKPSC
Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed the chief secretary Sukhbir Singh Sandhu that a system be put in place to ensure that the selection process is conducted in a transparent and clean manner so that able youth can be selected for jobs. He directed that the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) and other selection agencies are made transparent and strengthened to ensure this.
Dhami also directed the chief secretary and the personnel secretary to take a decision on case to case basis for posts for which the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has declared the results but not sent the recommendations yet. In the examinations for which the UKSSSC has already invited applications but the examination has not been held, necessary action as per the rules should be undertaken at the level of the UKPSC and the selection process should be ensured. The CM further said that for the exams of the UKSSSC which have been transferred to the UKPSC, the advertisement should be released and the selection process should be started soon. He also directed the personnel secretary to take action soon regarding the police rankers recruitment exam for which the results have already been declared.
