With pre-poll switch from Congress to BJP continuing in Uttarakhand, the latest is the former Gangotri MLA Vijaypal Singh Sajwan. He has quit the grand old party on way to join the saffron fold. State Congress sources confirmed the matter, saying that the former MLA had resigned from the primary membership of the party, citing personal reasons. Observers said that the resignation of the two-time MLA from Gangotri might influence the election outcome of this constituency in particular.
