Ex-soldiers’ recruitment for KRC to start on Nov 2

In latest news from Uttarakhand, as per a notice issued by Kumaon Regimental Centre (KRC) Ranikhet, recruitment process would start for the retired personnel of the Kumaon and Naga regiments on November 2. If selected, they would get opportunity to work as members of the Defence Security Corps. The ex-soldiers of these two regiments who are declared as belonging to Shape-1 medical category are eligible to apply for the posts of sipahi general duty and sipahi clerk (SD). The KRC recruitment notice further states that the candidates for sipahi general duty must be less than 46 years of age and must have retired between November 30, 2021 and October 31 2023. However, they must not have retired more than two years ago. The candidates applying for sipahi clerks (SD) must be less than 48 years of age and must have retired between November 30 2018 and October 31 2023. However, they have must not have retired more than five years ago. The notice states that the scrutiny of the documents of the candidates will be started at 8 am on November 1 and the next day primary level screening of the candidates will be started at 5-30 am to be followed by their physical efficiency tests.
