While chairing a meeting on expansion of Pantnagar airport on Wednesday, the Udham Singh Nagar district magistrate Uday Raj Singh said that with land being allotted to Pantnagar Airport Authority, they should prepare a survey map to ensure quick completion of the work.
He said that In lieu of the area of National Highway which is coming under the purview of airport expansion, 103 acres of land has been allotted to NHAI for shifting the NH to a new location, adding that NHAI and the airport authority should work in mutual coordination.
The airport director Pantnagar Monika Dembla stressed on strengthening security to keep the premises free from unwanted elements.
