Express train starts operating between Lalkuan & Bengaluru

A new weekly express train started between Lalkuan and Bengaluru city railway station on Saturday. The first day witnessed cent per cent passengers for the train for Bengaluru city. The sleeper coaches were fully packed on Saturday while the sleeper coaches of the train scheduled to depart for Bengaluru on January 18 have already been fully booked this week itself.
According to the information provided by the Railways, the 319 seats in the four sleeper coaches in the Lalkuan-Bengaluru City Express train were fully booked while 95 per cent of the 798 seats in the 10 third AC economy coaches were full on the first day. Officials informed that the fare for the 2,635 kilometre train journey from Lalkuan to Bengaluru city is Rs 1,050 in the sleeper class and Rs 2,550 in the third AC economy. There are a total of 40 stoppages on the entire route.
The train will depart from Lalkuan every Saturday at 5:55 PM. It will pass through Bareilly Junction, Mathura, Agra, Gwalior and Jhansi on the first day, Bhopal, Betul, Nagpur, Balharashah, Tedpalli, Warangal, Ongal and Krishnarajpuram on the second day before reaching Bengaluru on the third day at 3:25. From Bengaluru, this train will depart on Tuesdays and reach Lalkuan at 9:05 AM on the third day.
