Extra teacher appointed to school at Listrabad on DM instructions

PIONEER EDGE NEWS SERVICE/Dehradun
Following the instruction of Dehradun district magistrate Savin Bansal, an additional teacher has been appointed to the Government Primary School in Listrabad area. This decision follows a complaint from the village head, who highlighted the inadequacy of having only one teacher at the school, despite having 34 students. According to officials, a multipurpose camp was recently organised in the village of Itharna, chaired by the DM. During this event, the Village Head of Listrabad raised a concern, stating that the Doiwala development block reported 34 students are enrolled in the Government Primary School, but only one teacher is available. This lack of faculty has adversely affected the students’ learning experience, they added.
The officials further added that, considering this, the Gram Pradhan had requested the placement of an additional teacher. Taking immediate action on the complaint, Bansal instructed the chief education officer to appoint a teacher to the said school. Consequently, another teacher has been deployed to said school.
