The Season 5 of ‘Face of Dehradun’ was organised in Dehradun, marking a celebration of the city’s unsung heroes and their inspiring success stories. The actor Priyanshu Painyuli, who appeared in Netflix original film Extraction and an Amazon Prime crime thriller series Mirzapur 2, was present at the programme.
During the occasion, several individuals from different fields were felicitated with the title of ‘Face of Dehradun’. Among those who received the title were anchor and actor Devanggana Chauhan (art category); president of Shri Nityaanand Swami Jan Seva Samiti’s Youth Wing ‘JAI’, Vinayak Sharma Swami (social welfare category; Joginder Kumar from the Dehradun traffic police (public affairs category); founder of Purkal Stree Shakti Chinni Swamy (women empowerment category) and DGP (retd) IPS Anil Raturi (civil services category).
The organisers said that the objective behind hosting the ‘Face of Dehradun’ programme was to pay tributes to some exemplary citizens who have made significant strides in their respective fields.
