In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Uttarkashi district magistrate Abhishek Ruhela, who had been transferred to the post of vice-president of District Development Authority Udham Singh Nagar, was given a warm farewell by the officers and employees of the district administration at the collectorate. They applauded his tenure as the DM as inspirational. In his address at the farewell ceremony, Ruhela said that he had learnt nuances of administration during his stint here as DM. He ascribed the achievements of the district administration helmed by him as the DM to the hard work, dedication and team spirit of the officers and employees.
Notably, Ruhela took charge as the DM Uttarkashi on April 24 2022. Meharban Singh Bisht has been given the responsibility of the DM Uttarkashi after Ruhela’s transfer.
