A man and his son died on the spot after the motorcycle they were riding fell down the mountainside on the Raipur-Kumalda-Kaddukhal motor road in Tehri district on Monday. The State Disaster Response Force and police personnel reached the site on being informed about the mishap and managed to retrieve the two bodies from the gorge after considerable effort. The bodies were sent to the hospital for post mortem.
According to the police, Marora village resident Govind Singh and his son Sumit were riding to Dehradun. His bike went out of control and fell down the mountainside near Dubad village on Raipur-Kumalda-Kaddukhal motor road in the afternoon.
