A student of LLM from Shwasudev College of Law Lamachaur, Harshita Bhatt will be awarded the Vice- Chancellor’s Gold Medal at the convocation of Kumaun University. She has achieved the best ranking in the university by securing 90.24 CGPA marks in LLM. Harshita who attended the rehearsal organised by the university on the eve of the convocation gave the credit of her success to her parents and teachers. She, a resident of Nababi Road in Haldwani, presently works online in taxation in an Australian company. Asked about the trend of a large number of women joining the law profession in the present times, she attributed this to rising awareness among women.
