Film ’83’ receives standing ovation at the Red Sea International Festival

Ranveer Singh- Deepika Padukone starrer ’83’ received standing ovation from the audience at the Red Sea International Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Kabir Khan directorial is based on India’s historic 1983 Cricket World Cup win. Ranveer Singh plays the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, while Deepika Padukone will be seen as his wife Romi Dev. Ranveer, Deepika along with director Kabir Khan and his wife Mini Mathur were present at the film festival. Kapil Dev and his wife also made a grand appearance at the special screening. The film will hit the theatres on December 24, 2021 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
