The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was warmly greeted by the people of poll-bound Madhya Pradesh when he along with the MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched road show in the Khurai assembly constituency area as part of campaigning. Flower petals were showered on them from bulldozers. Showering laudatory epithets on Dhami, Chauhan said that he had transformed the fate and picture of Uttarakhand. Dhami in his address lashed out at the Congress, saying that the party during its reign had ruined the identities of the States like Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh. He also spoke of the recent ‘attack’ on the Sanatana Dharma by an opposition party and averred that no might on earth could destroy it. Launching another broadside on the Congress and the opposition bloc, he said that the mention of the ancient name of the land Bharat irritated these leaders.
