Darul Uloom principal discusses various issues with Kailashanand Giri

The principal of Darul Uloom Deoband, Maulana Arshad Madani said that one can choose any religion by choice but forced religious conversion is wrong. He said this during his meeting with Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri in Haridwar on Saturday. In the meeting held at the Dakshin Kali temple, both the religious leaders discussed various topics in detail. During their interaction Giri presented a saffron shawl to Madani. The Maulana presented a Hindi translation of the Quran to the Swami on the occasion.
Giri said that he and the Maulana had discussed various important issues during their interaction. He said that the Maulana is a top Muslim religious leader of India and that his message inspires his followers not only in India but Muslims around the world. The Swami said that the meeting between the two religious personalities should send a positive message to society and the nation.
