Former MLA Dhan Singh Negi and a large number of people joined the BJP in the presence of president of Uttarakhand BJP Mahendra Bhatt and former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat at the party headquarters on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhatt expressed confidence that all past records will be broken in the ongoing membership drive. He said that the country is currently in a golden era under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bhatt said that every party worker and leader should participate enthusiastically in the membership drive.
Speaking on the occasion former CM Rawat said that the party will get strengthened by the return of Dhan Singh Negi. He also exhorted the party workers to engage wholeheartedly in the membership drive. Large number of supporters of former MLA Negi also took membership of the BJP on the occasion.
