Four drunk students of private universities arrested for causing nuisance in public

Police arrested four students of two private universities of Dehradun on charges of creating a ruckus at public places in Premnagar after drinking alcohol on Thursday. The officials said that a campaign is being conducted regularly in areas with prominent colleges and universities as per the order of the senior superintendent of police Daleep Singh Kunwar to maintain law and order.
Four teams were deployed in the area to monitor such activities in the Premnagar area when the police purportedly found four students fighting and creating a ruckus near Paundha Road.
The police arrested four students who have been identified as Rahul Gupta (27), Aryan Agrawal (23), Rakul Saini (22) and Parakram Mittal (22). They were booked under sections 151, 107 and 116 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) during the intensive checking campaign. A medical test of these arrested students was carried out as per the law and will be soon presented before the court, as per the officials.
