Four Hemkund Sahib pilgrims injured in accident

With road accidents continuing unabated in the State, four pilgrims from Punjab headed towards Hemkund Sahib were injured as the car they were travelling in fell into a ditch near Devprayag on Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway-58. Devprayag police said that as the car had broken down in Tota Valley near Saknidhar ahead of Kodiala, a crane was put into action and while the crane was towing the car it along with the car titled towards a ditch. On being informed, police and SDRF rushed in. They pulled out the four persons trapped in the car and had them admitted at a local hospital. Later they were referred to AIIMS Rishikesh.
