Four motor & hanging bridges to come up in Tharali Assembly constituency area, says MLA

In latest Uttarakhand news, Tharali Assembly constituency is going to have four motor and hanging bridges to be built with a cost of over Rs 33 crores. Tenders have been invited for these projects. With things progressing fast, the Tharali legislator Bhopal Singh Tamta expressed his gratitude to the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the State minister Satpal Maharaj and others.

Providing further details, Tamta said that the World Bank has approved funds in May 2023 for the construction of several bridges within the Assembly constituency limit, including the motor bridge on Pindar river along Kulsari-Sunao motor road, a hanging bridge in Dewal development block at Supaligarh which was swept away during the 2013 disaster,  a hanging bridge in Narayanbagar development block in Paithani-Garkot area and another hanging bridge in Narayanbagar development block along Ming Gadhera-Gadni motor road.

The MLA further said that after the tendering process is completed, he would try to ensure that the construction works of the bridges start at the earliest.
