Fraudster demands Rs 5 L from Ranipur MLA posing as Shah’s son

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the Bahadarabad police station is now looking for a person who tried to extort Rs five lakh from the MLA, Ranipur Adesh Chauhan posing himself as the son of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The public relation officer of the MLA said that the person had called Chauhan on phone and said that his ‘father’ Amit Shah had asked him to attend a meeting convened in Delhi to discuss some serious issues. Also, he said over phone that Shah had made the son of the BJP’s national president J P Nadda, Harish Nadda the party observer for Uttarakhand. As the MLA called Harish Nadda the latter told him that the person was a trickster.
Later, when the person called again Chauhan told him that his trick had been exposed. The latter then asked him to pay him Rs five lakh, warning that if he failed some contents would be shared on the social media which would tarnish his reputation irreparably.
After the MLA registered a case against the fraudster at Bahadarabad police station, police started investigation. They were now looking out for the fraudster, police further said.
