The agriculture minister Ganesh Joshi met the union minister of consumer affairs, food and civil supplies Prahlad Joshi in New Delhi on Wednesday.
He expressed gratitude to the minister for including the traditional crop of Uttarakhand, the Finder millet (Mandua) in the category of the crops with minimum support price. He also thanked the union minister for including local millets Koni, Kodo and Kutki in the public distribution system (PDS) for three years.
Joshi also invited the union minister for the Char Dham Yatra and discussed many issues. He also presented Joshi a replica of Kedarnath shrine and a sapling.
