Ganga Fair concludes at Venkateshwara University with poetic, musical programmes

To mark the conclusion of the Ganga Fair, Shri Venkateshwara University organised a Bollywood Musical Night and All India Kavi Sammelan in its Meerut campus on Friday. A team of over a dozen poets in coordination with the noted poet Dinesh Raghuvanshi presented patriotic, romantic and humorous compositions while an eminent T-Series and Sony Music singer Manoj Verma and the female playback singer and winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Season 2, Nivedita Nanda gave performances on numerous Bollywood tunes. Among the dignitaries present included the
district session judge, district magistrate, senior superintendent of police and chief development officer. Besides, the chairman of Venkateshwara Group of Institutions Sudhir Giri and the vice- chancellor of Shri Venkateshwara University Rajeev Tyagi were present. Later, members of the Bollywood musical team from Mumbai and the poets were felicitated.
