In latest news from Uttarakhand, the National Mission for Clean Ganga is all set to host the 8th edition of Ganga Utsav at Chandi Ghat in Haridwar on November 4 to be attended by the Union Minister of Jal Shakti C R Patil and the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The objective of organising this programme, according to the organisers, is to promote the cause of clean Ganga through raising collective awareness aside from celebrating the cultural and spiritual significance of the national river of the country.
