In latest news from Uttarakhand, with the State witnessing flurry of activities a few days left for campaigning to end, the Gangotri MLA Suresh Chauhan has conducted extensive canvassing for the BJP candidate for Tehri Lok Sabha seat Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah. He sought votes across a large area under the constituency covering Matali, Bandarkot, Jugaldi, Panjyala and Chinnkholi, among others. He said that every vote to be cast by the people would help the Prime Minister Narendra Modi hit the hat-trick and India to emerge as a strong global power under his stewardship. Invoking the special ties the PM has with Uttarakhand, he said that he has initiated and approved a host of welfare schemes for the State meant for the wellbeing of women, elderly and youth and in acknowledgement, they should vote to ensure BJP’s landslide victory and Modi’s hat-trick.
