In latest news from Uttarakhand, a jawan of 14 Garhwal Rifles from Uttarkashi and posted in Leh-Ladakh border areas of Jammu and Kashmir died in line of duty after his condition deteriorated suddenly. Sharvan Chauhan who hailed from Sarnaul village near Yamunotri in Uttarkashi district was found ill and he was rushed to a hospital where he died during treatment.
The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami condoled the jawan’s death. In a post, he said that the entire State was mourning his death.
