GBPUAT receives Best Centre Award at annual pulses workshop

At the recent annual pulses workshop held at the University of Agricultural Sciences (GKVK), Bengaluru, under the auspices of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, the All India Coordinated Pulse Research Project of the GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) was awarded the Best Centre Award for the Kharif Pulse Programme.
For this achievement, GBPUT vice chancellor Shivendra Kumar Kashyap presented all the scientists working in coordination on pulse research with certificates. He congratulated all the scientists, calling this a major achievement for the university and advised scientists from various departments to work together in research.
He honoured SK Verma and Anju Arora of the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, VK Singh, DK Shukla and Vineeta Rathore of the Department of Agronomy, Poonam Gautam of the Department of Soil Science, KPS Kushwaha and LB Yadav of the Department of Plant Pathology, and Ruchira Tiwari, Meena Agnihotri and JP Purwar of the Department of Entomology.
