The trustee of Geeta Press Baijnath Aggarwal passed away at the age of 90 years. He breathed his last at 2.30 am at his residence in Hari Om Nagar in Uttar Pradesh. His family members informed that his last rites would be performed on the banks of Ganga in Varanasi. The UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences over his demise, saying that while working as the trustee of Geeta Press for 40 years, he embodied the motto of self-abnegation for the welfare of humanity. He further said that his demise was an irreparable loss for the society.
