A girl has been killed as a speeding bus collided with a scooty on the Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway. Police said that reckless driving by the bus driver was responsible for the accident. Police impounded the bus. The accident happened near a petrol pump in Maletha. Police further said that the girl succumbed while she was being taken to the Srinagar Medical College. She was identified as Nandni Kothiwal. She was a student of Sanskrit in Garhwal University in Srinagar.
