Global youth learn modern management in Geeta Academy

More than 400 people from across the world have learnt principles of management from Geeta so far

The ancient scripture Bhagvad Geeta continues to inspire and guide millions of people even today. A village in Uttarakhand, known for its religious and spiritual heritage has become a centre for people from around the world to learn different aspects of the Geeta. The Geeta Academy in Gwad village in Tehri district’s Narendranagar block is teaching people perspective, motivational leadership capacity and planning along with other modern principles of management through the Geeta. Youth from scores of nations have so far learnt management through the Geeta at this academy so far.

The Geeta Academy in Gwad is stated to be the first such modern academy in the State which offers three-week and five-week courses for those aged between 18 and 30 years to learn management from the Geeta. The course along with accommodation and meals are provided free of cost. The academy officials state that along with Indian participants, more than 400 youth from Belgium, Canada, England, USA and Nepal have so far learnt Geeta management here. The academy’s managing director Shivendra Nagar said that the aim is to develop the youth who will play a crucial role in building the future into capable citizens. “The Geeta doesn’t teach only about Dharma and Adharma. Its principles and discourses also teach various aspects of management. The youths can adopt these principles of management to achieve greater heights of success,” he said.
