The new website of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam was launched by Tourism minister Satpal Maharaj and Tourism secretary Dilip Jawalkar here on Thursday. The new website www.gmvnonline.in will enable people to book online accommodation, package tours and customised tours. The website was launched during a function held to mark the 46th foundation day of the corporation here on Thursday evening.
The GMVN celebrated its foundation day at a function in Hotel Drona. Personnel of the corporation who had done commendable work were also felicitated on the occasion. A cultural programme was also staged during the event. The GMVN managing director Swati Bhadauriya presented Rudraksh saplings to the minister and secretary. Congratulating all the staff of the corporation on the occasion, Maharaj assured them of all possible cooperation for efforts aimed at taking the corporation forward. The GMVN general manager (administration) Anil Garbyal and other staff members along with their family members were also present on the occasion.
