The newly appointed media in-charge for Uttarakhand of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Pankhuri Pathak was welcomed at the State party office by Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Ganesh Godiyal and leader of opposition Yashpal Arya on Tuesday.
The chief spokesperson of State Congress Garima Dasauni stated that Pathak’s appointment will give a new direction to the party’s election preparations in view of the upcoming assembly elections.
She added that her role will be crucial considering Uttarakhand’s political situation, regional and social dynamics, and the electoral landscape. Dasauni expressed confidence that Pathak’s experience and strategic approach will give a new edge to the Congress party’s media campaign.
