The member of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) Ashutosh Dimri has said that the Congress leader Ganesh Godiyal is afraid of the investigation on the allegation of corruption made against him.
Dimri who had submitted a complaint on irregularities in BKTC during the tenure of Godiyal as chairman and on which the cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat has directed the chief secretary to investigate the allegation said that the construction of a temple in Pokhri, reconstruction work of Binsar temple and road construction in Tehri districts are in violation of the act of BKTC. He said that the BKTC can manage the affairs of only 45 temples and the above mentioned works were not in the jurisdiction of the committee.
Dimri said that Godiyal promoted an officer to the post of executive engineer within two years only by violating all norms.
