Golden Key Division organises Tiranga Rally

The Golden Key Division organised a Tiranga Rally on Tuesday as part of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
According to officials, the rally, which was flagged off from Artillery Chowk, saw participation from serving officers, personnel, families and children. Participants proudly carried the Tricolour while chanting patriotic slogans, creating an inspiring atmosphere along the route.
The general officer commanding of the Golden Key Division general Naveen Mahajan, Sena Medal, flagged off more than 400 cyclists who adorned their cycles with the Tricolour. Mahajan, along with brigadier PJ Prabhakaran, the Clement Town Station commander and brigadier RK Singh, the commander of the Golden Key Gunners, participated alongside numerous commanding officers and soldiers, they added.
The officials said that the event aimed to instill national pride, foster community spirit and encourage every household to hoist the National Flag with honour. Officials emphasised the significance of the Tiranga as a symbol of our unity, sacrifice and aspirations as a nation.
The atmosphere echoed the sentiment that our Tiranga is not just a flag, but the soul of our nation. The rally concluded with a reaffirmation to participate wholeheartedly in the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative by displaying the National Flag at homes from August 14 to August 16 2025.
