Good news for Netflix users as it slashes streaming plans in India

Netflix users in India will now be able to enjoy the subscription plans at a cheaper rate as the streaming platform slashed its prices and introduced the ‘Happy New Prices’ from December 14. The company has reduced its monthly subscription mobile plan at Rs 149/month from Rs 199/month. Besides that, the basic plan now costs Rs 199/M instead of Rs 499/month, the standard plan costs Rs Rs 499/month instead of Rs 649/month and the premium plan is down to Rs 649/month from Rs 799/month. This move came amidst the growing competition in the OTT space in India as it has been facing a tough competition with Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Youtube and other OTT platforms.
