Goods being transported without GST payment were confiscated from Saras Bazar in Haldwani at the initiative of the Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat. On being informed, the GST officials reached. The GST officials are now searching for the owners of these goods and preparing the GST bills for the confiscated goods. Kumaon Commissioner said that no such attempt to rob the state of revenue would be tolerated.
