Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj were celebrated at Patanjali Yogpeeth on Wednesday. Addressing the gathering, Baba Ramdev said that the holy festival of love between the brothers and sisters reflects our family values and glorious traditions of our country.
“ The atmosphere of disintegration and bitterness that is being created in the families can be stopped only by following the Sanatan traditions and celebrating the festivals in a pure form,’’ he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Acharya Balkrishna said that Cow’s milk makes the life of a human being healthy and everyone should take a pledge to protect the cows. “By protecting cows, we are not doing a favor to them, but are discharging our duty. Many experiments are also being done by Patanjali Yogpeeth for poison free agriculture, natural farming, natural farming. This is increasing the income of the farmers. People are also getting pure food, fruits and vegetables. Cow based agriculture will make the country prosperous, healthy and healthy. For this, Patanjali is working on intensive research out of Indian breeds of cows for their protection,’’ he said.
