Yogi unveils new building of his alma mater in Pauri village

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath said that the government’s action along with societal participation can usher in development in any sector. He said this after inaugurating the new building of the government primary school at Thangar and a Barat Ghar at his native village Panchur in Yamkeshwar of Pauri district on Saturday. He was accompanied by Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Addressing the gathering, the UP CM said that he has studied in the government primary school Thangar and he is extremely happy to come back to the school after so many years. He said that the new building of the school is ready and it is equipped with many facilities. Adityanath said India Glycols Limited (IGL) has provided facilities such as smart classrooms, modern laboratory and virtual classroom facility in the school. He said that rapid changes are being witnessed in the agriculture sector due to effective use of technology. The UP CM said that clear vision of government along with societal participation can usher in development in any sector. He said that the teachers in the past had worked with dedication despite limited resources and had organised Bal Sabhas, sports and cultural programmes. All these activities left a positive impact on the students and helped them to succeed, he said.
Yogi exhorted the teachers to make best use of the resources available now and provide the best education to the students. Dhami said that it is a matter of great pride for every person of the State that the UP CM hails from Uttarakhand.
He said that no one is born great but commitment and hard work takes one towards greatness. The life of Yogi Adityanath is an example that one can move forward in life with dedication and hard work.
“The entire world knows Adityanath ji as a Karma Yogi. Prior to 2017, anarchy prevailed in UP but now it has become an excellent state in every respect. Uttarakhand too is moving on the path of development,’’ he said.
Dhami said that the recent report of NITI Aayog suggests that Uttarakhand is at top position in achieving targets of sustainable development.
In his address, Dhami also requested Yogi to extend the under construction Meerut- Prayagraj Ganga Expressway to Haridwar in Uttarakhand.
Rajendra Singh Rawat, the teacher of Yogi Adityanath remembered him as a hard working student.
Tourism minister Satpal Maharaj, Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat, Haridwar MP and former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, former CM Tirath Singh Rawat, MLA Renu Bisht, additional director of IGL Umashankar Bharatriya and others were also present on the occasion.
