The governor of Uttarakhand lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh and chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami have congratulated the students who cleared the class X and XII examinations of the Uttarakhand Vidyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP).

The UVSP released the results of the board examination on Tuesday.  Considering this, Singh said that the students’ hard work and diligence have paid off and this success will be an important milestone in their lives. He expressed hope that the students will continue to progress on the path of success and make their own valuable contribution to society and the nation’s development. Singh added that the students should not be disappointed if they did not achieve the expected results, as failure is not a barrier but rather a new start. He further emphasised that the students should work hard and accomplish their dreams with time.

The chief minister also expressed his happiness and wished the students who had cleared the examination with good percentages. He said, “The UVSP result this year indicates the student’s hard work and dedication. I have full confidence that the students will bring glory to the State and the country in the times to come. For students who have failed the examination, do not be disappointed. I request the parents to not put pressure on their children but to support them. Remember, this is not the ultimate criterion of success in life. All of you can achieve success by trying with full dedication and hard work.”
