In latest news from Doon, the health minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the laboratories of several subjects in 46 government colleges across the State would be provided with new equipment and for this, the State government has approved an amount of over Rupees five crore under the Centre’s Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Expenditure 2023-24. He further said that new instruments would be provided for laboratories for subjects like physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, anthropology, home science and military science among others. The education department has already approved funds for different educational institutions which figure in the list, Rawat added.
