A video of headmaster teaching students in inebriated state has gone viral

The district education officer (DEO) of Pauri Anand Bharadwaj has suspended the headmaster of a government primary school of Thalisain in Pauri whose video recently went viral on several social media platforms in which he was allegedly teaching students in an inebriated condition. After the video went viral on the weekend, the DEO took cognisance of the issue and directed the block education officer (BEO) to investigate the matter. As per the officials, it was revealed during the BEO’s investigation that the headmaster Pradeep Kumar was indeed teaching students in an inebriated condition which is a grave violation of rules and hindered the studies of the students too. Stating that such violations do not just damage the environment of the school but tarnish the image of the education department, the DEO suspended the headmaster Pradeep Kumar on Monday. The suspended headmaster has been attached to the office of the deputy education officer in Thalisain during his suspension period.
