Grievance redressal a phone call away in Bageshwar

‘Hello Bageshwar’, a system of grievance redressal implemented by the district administration of Bageshwar is eliciting very good response from the people. The complainants can register their grievances on a toll free mobile number 9412995958 issued by the administration.

The grievance is noted down by a dedicated team which ensures its redressal by constant tracking and proper follow up with the department concern.

Hello Bageshwar is the brainchild of District Magistrate (DM) Ashish Kumar Bhatgain. He told The Pioneer that the initiative sets into place a hassle-free system where complainants can simply make a phone call to record their grievances.  He said that the people can also register their grievances by sending a message on the toll free number.

“Once a complaint is received, our dedicated team promptly notes it down and creates a structured database of daily grievances. This ensures every issue is tracked and prioritized. The complaint is immediately forwarded to the concerned department for swift action, minimizing delays and ensuring accountability,’’ he said.

 The DM further added, “What sets Hello Bageshwar apart is our proactive approach. Our team maintains constant communication with the complainant, providing updates and ensuring they remain informed at every step. From the moment a grievance is reported to its resolution, we stay connected, ensuring transparency and trust. With the Hello Bageshwar, grievance redressal is not just a process – it’s a commitment to serve citizens efficiently and ensure their voices are heard and addressed promptly.’’

One of the complainants, Harish Prasad of village Querali said that he had complained about a problem he was facing in the solar light and the issue was resolved in a few days.
