Guv, CM greet people on Hindi Diwas

In latest Uttarakhand news, the Governor Lieutenant General (Retd) Gurmit Singh and the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami greeted the people of the State on Hindi Diwas.

In his message marking the day, the Governor said that Hindi is a robust and rich language and one of the most spoken languages of the world. It is a bond that keeps the Indians across the world connected aside from connoting the distinct cultural heritage and identity of the land, he said.

The chief minister in his message said that this language is now being extensively used in the administrative and academic realms of the country. Lauding Hindi as one of the most popular languages of the world, he said that the glory of this language must be kept alive and for this, the people of this country should strive together. He added that Hindi language has the inherent strength to create harmony among all the regional languages of India.
