Guv, CM to attend Agriculture Science Congress starting on Feb 20

The director, Communication, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, J P Jaiswal said that the 17th Agriculture Science Congress would be held in the university from February 20 to 22 to be attended by the Governor Lt Gen (Rtd) Gurmit Singh who is also the chancellor of the university, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, vice-chancellor of Pantnagar University Manmohan Singh Chauhan and chancellor of Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU) in Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar, P L Gautam. He further informed that the event is being organised jointly by the Pantnagar University, National Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Pantnagar to promote agriculture in the country and abroad.
About 1500 persons have registered themselves so far for participation in the upcoming event.
