Governor Baby Rani Maurya, chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat and others have greeted the people on the occasion of Holi. They have also appealed the people to observe all necessary precautions in view of Covid-19.
In her message to the public the governor said, “May the festival of Holi bring the colours of happiness and prosperity in everyone’s life. This is an occasion to forget bitterness and differences while encouraging affection and cooperation towards each other.” She also appealed to the people to observe all necessary precautions against Covid-19 while celebrating Holi. Similarly, the CM also wished the people on the occasion while also appealing to them to observe Covid appropriate behaviour.
Meanwhile, various Holi Milan programmes were held in the provisional state capital Dehradun on Sunday. The BJP state president Madan Kaushik played Holi with flower petals at his residence and the BJP office. The Pradesh Congress Committee president Pritam Singh also attended a Holi Milan programme.
